Five Things to be Excited About as we Kick Off the 2024 Monster Jam Season

1. A MAXIMUM FINALE

Tom Meents will begin his final season as an active Monster Jam competitor when Stadium Championship East kicks off on January 13th at the historic Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. I had Tom in studio on an upcoming addition of Inside Monster Jam and the 14-time World Finals Champion was adamant about going out on top with not only a series title but also a 15th and possibly 16th world championship. The Professor of Monster Jam University has had a storied career, one that has earned him the “GOAT” moniker when he finally hangs up his fire suit after one more World Finals at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. The final countdown has begun on what has been a ‘Maximum’ career.

2. ROOKIE FEVER

We are set to witness arguably the most anticipated rookie class in Monster Jam history when the first light goes green at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City on January 5th. Seven new drivers will begin competing on their first championship series as they look to etch their names in the Monster Jam record books by becoming Rookie of the Year. The early favorites appear to be El Toro Loco’s Fernando Martinez who shocked the world by winning three out of his first four events in Nampa, and nerveless daredevil Angelina Nock who will be driving Megalodon, but do not count out Team Throttle Monster and their talented group of first-time competitors. Who will be crowned at the awards ceremony in Inglewood? Stay-tuned.

3. THE MONSTERGON

The Monster Jam community is buzzing after the announcement that Monster Jam – Ramped Up featuring the Monstergon, will make its worldwide debut in Birmingham, England on March 29th. Our team has been working for years on perfecting this multi-sided steel ramp which will bring Monster Jam action to venues and markets where procuring dirt has been a challenge. Are you excited to see the Monstergon in action?

4. EVEN MORE CONTENT

We are already working on making 2024 even bigger than a groundbreaking 2023 as we continue to expand our broadcast and digital content. We are back for another exciting year on MAVTV which will see no less than 86 episodes of all-new television content featuring action from Stadium Championship Series East and West, all three Arena Championship Series, and in-depth interviews with the sport’s biggest stars on Inside Monster Jam Powered By Lucas Oil. Not only will our YouTube channel continue you to bring you new television content but by subscribing you will unlock more classic content than ever before, and our digital media team will take you around the league with exclusive content from Monster Jam events all over the world.

5. A HOLLYWOOD ENDING

The road to World Finals XXIII begins this weekend for 48 Monster Jam superstars who all have one goal in mind: To punch their ticket to the biggest event of the year on May 18th at SoFi Stadium in southern California. Last year we saw three new World Champions crowned in Music City as Tyler MenningaTristan England, and Colt Stephens reached the top of the mountain. Who will shine under the bright lights of LA and achieve their blockbuster Hollywood movie ending? Get your tickets now at MonsterJam.com and be there in person to find out!
