Weekend Recap: 10 Drivers Take Home Overall Event Championships

A lot of drivers went home with some hardware after last weekend saw 10 different Monster Jam competitors taking home overall event championships in just 12 events.

 

Stadium Championship Series East – Miami

 

Grave Digger’s Tyler Menninga continued his impressive season taking the overall event championship on Saturday, winning all but Skills, which was won by Tristan England in JCB DIGatron. Todd LeDuc (Megalodon) broke through for his second overall event championship of the season on Sunday, while Bryce Kenny (Great Clips Mohawk Warrior) placed second overall both days.

 

 

Stadium Championship Series West – Detroit

 

Points leader Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger) kicked the weekend off with a racing win, but then was shut out of the win column for the rest of the weekend. Colt Stephens (ThunderROARus) and Chris Koehler (Northern Nightmare) picked up the wins in Skills and Freestyle respectively, with Colt taking the overall. On Sunday, Adam Anderson (Grave Digger) won Racing, Freestyle and the overall, while Cory Rummell (Megalodon) won Skills.

 

 

 

Arena Championship Series East – Allentown

 

Four of the eight competitors in Arena Championship Series East picked up overall event wins across five events last weekend. Wins went the way of Armando Castro (El Toro Loco) on Friday, Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger) on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and Zack Garner (Wild Side) and Coty Saucier (Dragon) Saturday and Sunday evenings. Angelina Nock (Megalodon) also picked up a Donuts win.

 

 

Arena Championship Series West – Wichita

 

Arena Championship Series West ran three events in Wichita, with Dalton Widner (Jurassic Attack) winning Saturday afternoon, and then Tony Ochs (ThunderROARus) winning overall on Saturday evening and Sunday. MJ Solorio (El Toro Loco) also picked up a Sky Wheelie win. Matt Cody (Grave Digger) also picked up two Freestyle wins and the Sky Wheelie win on Sunday, in his second week subbing for Brandon Vinson.
