Monster Jam International

Authored by Monster Jam on November 11, 2022

Since the first event in Paris in October 2002, Monster Jam® has had its sights set on becoming a global phenomenon by bringing action to fans around the world. Each year, more countries (or territories) are added to the schedule and 2017 is no exception.

Fans are turning out in large numbers in South America as Monster Jam trucks are headed for La Plata, Argentina for two shows May 13-14. The May 13 engagement has already sold out as a field of eight trucks will be on hand for the first show in the South American nation. This follows a highly successful December 2016 show in Chile.

The European engagements will begin with a visit to Estadio Vincente Calderon in Madrid on June 17. A star-studded lineup will be on hand as Monster Jam stops in Madrid for the third straight year.

The following week, Monster Jam journeys to France, but this time, it will be Lyon that will be hosting the show at Parc Olympique Stadium. A field of 10 Monster Jam trucks will contend to become the inaugural winner in the stadium that opened in 2016.

Monster Jam’s Asian presence increased with a 2016 stop in Osaka, Japan. In 2017, Beijing, China is another new stop on the schedule for July 29-30. Four-time World Champion Adam Anderson and Grave Digger leads the field in the groundbreaking show at the famous “Bird’s Nest”, Beijing National Stadium, the home of the 2008 Olympics.

The 2017 return to Australia will include stops in Brisbane (Oct. 7), Melbourne (Oct. 14) and Sydney (Oct. 21). It will be the fifth year for ANZ Stadium in Sydney while Brisbane and Melbourne each appear for the fourth straight year.

October will be the time for fans in Mexico City to gather at Arena Ciudad de Mexico for a pair of performances.

November will feature events in San Juan, Puerto Rico (Nov. 3-5), Helsinki, Finland (Nov. 4-5) and Stockholm, Sweden (Nov. 18).
